Why the trouble?

This question has been ask so many times I cannot count them. Why after having become a Christian I have so many troubles? Battles? Warfare’s?

The answer is quite simple but before I give it let me remind you of a few things.

First, the closer you live to Christ and the more devoted you are the more difficult life can get.

Paul told Timothy,
» 12 † Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Jesus says as well,
JOHN 16:33
» 33 † In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

So we can see surely that the Christian life can be filled with trouble, tribulations, trials and difficulties and pressures, but we have a great promise from our Lord Himself to Paul to us which says,

» 5 † I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Just remember on Calvary Christ cried out, “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me” God forsook Him at Calvary so that He will never have to forsake us, He paid our sin debt.

Now here’s the answer to the question, of why the Christian can have so many troubles after coming to Christ, “PRIOR TO COMING TO CHRIST YOU WERE PART OF THE TROUBLE, AFTER COMING TO CHRIST YOU FIGHT THE TROUBLE”

As Paul again told Timothy,
I TIMOTHY 6:11-12
» 11 † But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
» 12 † Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
